現在私は某スクールで大人の人達に英語を教えています。そんな中で「こんな風に英語を勉強していったらもっと力が着くんじゃないかな」と思うことがいくつかあります。それらを時々書いてみようと思います。英語を学んでいらっしゃる方のお役に少しでも立てたらこんな嬉しいことはありません(*^_^*)。

毎日、蒸し暑いですね。
夏といえば、日焼け止めは欠かせないですよね。今や温暖化の影響で1年中日焼け止めは必要な時代ですが・・・。そこで、と～ってもオススメな日焼け止め乳液があります！

人生初の胃がん検診に行って来ました。胃がん検診＋バリウム＝ゲップ！！んな訳ないんだけど、バリウムと言えば代名詞のゲップ（I’m sorry(^^;)) 。

Hello, everyone! Have you visited the BBC podcast web site that I mentioned in my last post? I have just downloaded one of my favourites, BH “Broadcasting House”. As I said, all the BBC podcasts are free of charge. I have checked the terms of use. It says “The BBC Podcasts are for your personal non-commercial use only.” Then ownership rights and other important things continue.

On Sunday, June 21st, the sun will rise over Sendai around 4:00am., and will continue to shine until 7:00pm. In fact, it will be the longest “day” of the year! Known as the summer solstice (日本語にすると「夏至」), it is the day when the northern hemisphere is closest to the sun. In many northern countries — like my home, Alaska — this is a big day for parties and barbeques as we celebrate the midnight sun!
