Hello, everyone!   I am going to talk about my weekly pleasure this time.   On Saturdays, I download a BBC Radio 4 program, ” Friday Night Comedy Show”.   Some comedians do comedy sketches and make satirical comments about the week’s news.

みなさん、こんにちは。　今回は、私の週の楽しみをお話したいと思います。　私は土曜日にＢＢＣラジオ４の番組”フライデー・ナイト・コメディー・ショー”のポドカーストをダウンロードします。　この番組では、１週間のニュースに関しまして、コメディ仕立ての短い物語を演じたり、少し皮肉的に批判したりします。

“The Now Show” is available this month.   I enjoy listening to the entire 30-minute-program very much, especially the parts where the stand-up comedians perform with their witty British humour and Mitch Benn, who seems to be as excellent as Susan Boyle, sings very unique, comical songs about the news.

今月は”ザ・ナウ・ショー”が放送されています。　私はこの３０分の番組をとても楽しんでいますが、とりわけスタンドアップ・コメディアンの皆さんが理知的なイギリスのユーモアを交えて演じる場面とスーザン・ボイルさんにも劣らないくらい素晴らしいミッチ・ベンさんが週の出来事をとてもユニークでおもしろい歌にして歌う場面が好きです。

In order to understand the content fully, I usually listen to one episode about 5 to 6 times a week.   Why don’t you try and listen to it since it is very funny and good for English listening practice as well.   See you!
